Produce a stunning portfolio of up to ten colourful prints in just two days using Aluminium plates etched in copper sulphate. Like traditional etching, this innovative process of aluminium etching involves intaglio techniques such as hard ground and soft ground using textures from found objects. Tonal passages similar to the aquatint technique are created without rosin dust, making this a non-toxic, friendly approach to fine art printmaking. Emphasis on colour will involve using viscosity in the inks and stencils with up to 6 colours and one passage through the press resulting in exciting variations to enhance your image.
Suitable for beginners and experienced printmakers
